ShamanicTraining
Shamanism is the world’s oldest form of spirituality
and healing and has been practiced since the dawn of mankind, and
perhaps even before this time by our long-extinct Neanderthal ancestors.
The purpose of these experiential workshops is to
examine shamanic initiation and healing practices common to all forms of
shamanism, while at the same time exploring other, less well-known, and
very powerful, techniques. We will learn how to find, and follow, an
extraordinary path that allows us to travel Between Worlds and greatly
enrich our lives, health, and relationships, while providing us with a
better understanding of the universe.
Between
Worlds
Rate:
Two-day workshop - €200
The goal of this two-day workshop is to experience
the power of shamanism: to learn what it is, and what it isn’t. We will
focus on the fundamental shamanic practice of ecstasy to journey between
the different cosmological realities to seek guidance from our power
animals and spirit helpers. We will also experience the power of Native
American divination and the medicine wheel.
No experience of shamanic journeying is required for
this workshop, but when you leave, you will have the tools to journey on
your own to bring balance and harmony back into the physical, emotional
and spiritual levels of your being.
Between Worlds II
Rate:
Two-day workshop - €300
The
purpose of this two-day workshop is to further develop the techniques
acquired in Between Worlds. By delving more profoundly we will examine
advanced techniques such as Soul Retrieval, Intrusions and Extractions,
and Dispossession (exorcism). This workshop requires a strong and
reliable relationship with your Spirit Guides and Helpers.
Between
Light and Shadow
Rate:
Three-day workshop - €400
This workshop is intended for those who are already
comfortable with journeying shamanically. We will build a sweat lodge in
order to perform the most profound journeys where we will begin by working
with our power animals, allies and spirit helpers to invite healing and
guidance both for ourselves and for others. But to experience the
enormous depths of shamanism, we must learn how to accept the light and
confront the dark: only then can we invite the healing benefits of the
ancestors, soul retrieval, and past life integration.
In extending our limits we will also learn how to
work with the pendulum, crystals and stones, and even with Tarot cards.
We will experience the deeper ecstasy of traditional shamans, and we
will begin a healing with Grandmother Earth that may well change our
lives.
Between
Then and Now
Rate:
Two-day workshop - €300
A shaman knows no boundaries of space or time.
Shamans have always been, and are now. This advanced workshop examines
the shamanism of traditional cultures and explores how it can be
integrated into modern western lives. We will focus on different
shamanic healing techniques such as those used in the ancient Bön-po
culture of Tibet, and the Huna used in Hawai’i. We will also examine
some of the techniques and rituals of other shamans from around the
world.
This workshop requires a strong capability in
shamanic journeying.
Personal Mentoring
Rate:
Four sessions - €200
The
personal mentoring program is designed to build a long-lasting and
profound relationship with your Spirit Guides and Helpers. This program
will normally run a minimum of six months. Mentoring can be performed in
person but works exceptionally well at distance, using the telephone or
internet for communications. Each session typically lasts around 90-120
minutes.
In
order to benefit form this program you will need to be comfortable
journeying. We will then build upon this basic skill and begin to learn
as the traditional shamans did, that is, from the Spirits themselves.
In the words of
Chris Davidson, a powerful shaman and wonderful person:
"Seek not
to follow in the footsteps
of the
Ancient Ones.
Seek
instead what they sought."
We
will start by learning how to differentiate between the mental and the
spiritual and to go where the Helpers want. This involves a total
surrender to their wisdom and guidance. These teachings are always
profound and can encompass any and all of the recognised shamanic
techniques as well as whatever other techniques your Helpers feel you
have need of at any point in time.
Once
you have completed this program you will be ready to help yourself and
others shamanically, with no hesitation. You will have all the tools
that you need to work spiritually for protection, healing and growth.
