Reiki Training
Initial Reiki training is divided into
two principal levels, Shoden (one day) and Okuden (two days) The integration
period for each stage demands anything from several months to a
life-time - there is no standard as there are no two people the same.
Included with each training course is a manual, a meditation and
exercise CD and three weeks of internet-based mentoring followed by two
months of continued monitoring and help. Both of these
levels can be studied in person or at distance.
For those who wish to begin a path of
mastering Reiki, there is a third stage, commonly known as
Master/Teacher, which I teach as a combined course covering the two
levels of Shinipiden and Shihan. Accomplishing this
stage will allow the practitioner to teach and mentor others in Reiki.
This training session requires three days of taught and experiential
training, which includes many hours of intensive meditation, ideally at
a Buddhist centre or some other very spiritual place. The focus in not
at all on religion, but rather on learning to know yourself as a sprit
with a human envelope... Because of the nature of this training,
distance learning is not preferred.
Shoden
Rate: One-day workshop

Reiki first degree is designed to open your spirit to the energy of
Reiki and to teach the elements of Reiki treatment both for yourself and
for others.
Okuden
Rate:
Two-day workshop plus mentoring - €300
In order to become a Reiki practitioner,
most countries require that you have the Reiki second degree, Okuden.
You will strengthen the practices and abilities learned at the Shoden
stage and learn how to use symbols to concentrate your manipulation of
Reiki energies to better help yourself and others. You will also work
with crystals to further concentrate the energies. The focus will be on
"getting yourself out of the way" so that you can surrender yourself to
the universal energy to allow it to go where it needs and do what is
required for the highest good of the recipient.
Shinpiden-Shihan
Rate: Three-day workshop
plus mentoring -
€700 The
third, or master degree, of Reiki is intended for those who wish to make
Reiki central to their lives and who probably have a desire to firmly
establish themselves on their chosen spiritual path in order to help
others. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, you can treat others with total confidence as
well as pass on your knowledge to others who would consider learning
Reiki. |
